Galilee/Nature Interrupted 2017-2022
Nature Interrupted: Galilee landscape is dry most of the year. Dominant color is yellow ocher, while taking long walks, there are always chairs left by vineyards keepers who sleep in the filed during harvesting season.
End of season you can see chairs, beds, bottles that are left behind - no mercy on the environment. The drawings are mixed ink, water color and mono print. All etchings are limited edition prints on heavy Arches natural cotton paper. This series is done in Israel the main subject is my impression of living in Northern Galilee.
